Google launches 'hold for me' feature, now you won't have to wait when call is held

 Recently, Google has launched its new feature 'Hold for Me' in its 'Launch Night in' event.  At present, this feature has been debuted in Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G smartphones through Google Assistant.  But soon the company is going to offer this service in other devices as well.

How this feature will work

 Google showcased the Whole for Me feature on the Pixel 5 device.  This feature can be activated through a new button.  Which will appear on the phone screen above the call-mute, speaker-button and other in-call control options.  You can use hold for me at that time.  When you have called any toll-free number or customer care number and your call has been placed on hold.  This feature will monitor your calls with the help of Google Assistant and till then you can also do other work.  As soon as someone picks up the phone, Google Assistant will give you notification.  Apart from this, it will also ask the representative to be on hold for a few seconds.

•  The new feature will also give you permission based options to share audio with Google for quality control.

 Let us tell you that Google had also introduced screen calling facility with duplex feature earlier.  This feature helps you to make appointments and restaurant reservations from anywhere on the phone.  Just last month, Google also updated its assistant based calling feature with verified calls.  With this feature, it detects who is calling you.
